In a Dreamwork session, the client will typically bring a dream they wish to "work" and the dream will be unpacked in detail paying close attention to any recurring themes, symbols, or emotions. The associations of the dreamer drive the session, informed by an integration of Jung's theory of the dreamwork process applied to the dream itself. Special focus is given to the projections that arise, as well as the various archetypes and symbols that emerge to help illuminate the meaning of the dream further. Archetypes are universal patterns of behaviour, thought, and emotion that are present in all human beings. Throughout the session, I provide a safe and supportive environment for the client to explore their dream and unpack the inner wisdom it presents. I will also help the client develop strategies for integrating the insights gained from the dream into their daily life as our dreams always call upon us to engage with what arises in such a way that a psychological shift/balance can be made, and an alliance formed between our inner and outer worlds.
